A Grade 6 teacher challenged his class, giving them 2 weeks to help one of their classmates at St Theresa School by fundraising for the family that had a fire destroy their house. Two pets perished and the father ended up in hospital with severe burns from this rural Strathcona fire on January 11, 2022.
Our Strathcona Warrior U13 player Tumi Ogundiya set a target to raise $1000.00. His Hockey team, ST505, helped him to exceed his 2 week fundraising target and they raised $1,331. Now Tumi is asking everyone to continue the fundraising through the family Go Fund Me page.
